Time control question by anonymIs it possible to use the time controls to play against another human player. I cant see how...if its possible at all. Kinda useless to have a time control while playing a computer. 4/5

Plays very well. by anonymVery good chess engine, complete with tournament chess clock. What a pity that the clock cannot be used when using the app as a 'magnetic chess board' to play against friends. 3/5
The computer cheats by anonymI don't care if there are "extra special moves" like castleing that only the computer can do. The king should only be able to move one space. 1/5

No cheating by anonymCastling is available to all players, en passant is available to all players, and when you're in check you're allowed to kill the piece if possible instead of moving a king. It's a great game for on the go, but it's no Chessmaster so if you're a complete beginner then you're probably going to be rather frustrated. For that I'd recommend something like "Chess For Kids" as that's much more beginner friendly. If you know all the moves though and want to practice on the go in a program that supports UCI, while being able to export games as PGN to load into Fritz later, this is perfect. 5/5

Also I don't understand why u ppl need the storage permissions. It would have been 4 stars if there were less permissions or no permissions. 3/5

Chess by anonymYou need to check the rules about castelling. I believe you cannot castle after being in check or cannot use that move to get out of check. Yo also cannot castle across an attacked square 4/5

Confusing by anonymMaybe I've forgotten the rules of Chess, but it seems like the CPU can do moves I can't. I can't castle, I can't remove a piece with the King. For example the game will say checkmate and all I would have to do is have the King take the piece right next to the King to get out of it. Yet, if I have a piece next to the CPU king it takes all of mine. I've played other chess games and those let me take pieces next to the King. Plus, for me, Level 1 is hard. : / 3/5

Great game by anonymIt was a great game tell google screwed up an did not put the menu button in there new os. so the app is useless. 3/5
Superb by anonymExcellent engine, not like the rubbish ones you often get with computers, a few things which could be better but that is being picky, and to top it off it's free and doesn't invade privacy! One thing to note though, it's not for complete novices unless you enjoy getting thrashed. I am a fairly good player and meet my match at lvl5/9 5/5

REALLY POOR by anonymYou on your own with this one - no menu or settings buttons etc. Needs serious revamp! Doesnt have the features as advertised. They put this crap out there to see how it will go. Obviously they dont understand if its uninstalled thats it! Nobody will come back to this! Not worth it now! 1/5
