Who wrote this app? NICE WORK by anonymI have been using this app for years and it has been key in helping route my sister through multiple tornadoes to get home and warn people when bad weather is headed their way. It is just amazing, please don't change it! 5/5

Refresh Button Please by anonymThis is a decent app. One complain i have is that it needs a refresh button. I have to zoom in or out of the map to refresh the radar. Other than that, it does it job fairly well. Wish the app would get updated more often. 4/5
Does One Thing, and Does It Perfectly by anonymThis is the exact type of animated radar I was looking for. Has some nice options, extremely easy to use, always works, and looks great. Anyone giving this less than 5 stars needs to rethink their criteria, especially when the app does exactly what it says it will, and is free AND has no ads! 5/5

by anonymFixed! Backed to being easily my number 1 radar app. Incompatible S4. Works great s2 This is by far my favorite radar app. Yesterday I got a new phone, a Samsung S4, will not work with this phone! I think the screen resolution is messing it up. I really need this fixed quickly. And because I Spent so much money on it I feel justified in my demands. It's only a 1 on the S4 all other phones its a 5 easy. 1/5

Raindar! by anonymI wanted to thank you for developing such a fantastic app, Raindar is awesome! If possible in the next release; a button to pause the animation a the most recent frame and also a menu item to refresh the map would be greatly appreciated. It's difficult to view the characteristics of a current storm when the radar is moving and sometimes the image becomes outdated frequently and must be restarted to load the new one. Feel free to consider a donate app as well, I'd gladly toss a few bucks your way. 4/5

Excellent for what it is. by anonymI am a Meteorologist by profession. This app is the simplest, cleanest, no frills radar app that I have been able to find. No toolbars to clutter the screen, just a plain old radar app. It won't give you high res data or anything like Radarscope or Pykl3 would, but you're also not paying 10 bucks for it ;) It's my go-to when I want a simple, broad look at the radar. 4/5
BEST WEATHER APP. (PERIOD)!!! by anonymThis weather application is better than any other I've EVER used. It lets you know exactly where rain's going to be right down to the clouds going over your head. Turn on the local radar features and you'll get the altitude of the cloud tops as well as winds high aloft and the chance of producing hail producing storms that may cause damage to your property. Have not seen how it works with Tornado warnings, but I imagine its tops there too, showing important tracks so you can take cover if needed. 5/5

Perfect by anonymI've waited years for an app to use good radar data on top of the Google Maps API. This does exactly that, and an added bonus: uses the latest Android Holo theming to look great. Also has traffic option - in 3 seconds I can get into my car and load this app to see weather and traffic instantly. Would like to see the dev update to the latest Google Maps API, so one-handed zoom in/out works like in the Google Maps app. But that's not even worth removing a star - this is the perfect radar app for Android. Should be a stock app. 5/5
Sweet app by anonymUpdate: Installed over my last 3 phones, from LG to Samsung and now my HTC ONE ( M7 AND M8). Continued great service and quick response to one minor issue. Consider the paid version if only for supporting great developers. Very fast to load, easy on resources. Wunderground has some of the best data displays going. Raindar is a winner! 5/5
Fast, useful radar app by anonymNo matter what weather forecast app I use, I always have this app installed alongside it due to the speed at which I can get the radar image. The only downside is the use of old Google Maps APIs, so zooming and panning is a bit clunky. Otherwise, it works and looks great, even on Lollipop! 5/5
WON'T REFRESH by anonymUnless it's a hidden feature, the program has no automatic refresh. If you come back in a few hours it's still on the same scan as hours ago. So you have to move around the screen to get program to load new radar. So it's usless for long term monitoring Dirty shame 2/5
Go To App for BAD Weather!!! by anonymI've had RAINDAR for both smartphone and tablet for a couple of years. IF you live in ANY kind of bad weather alley, this is the gold standard! When local radars have shown a bad storm, RAINDAR has been right. Scaling In ND OUT KEEPS THE RESOLUTION. i RECENTLY, LIKE THIS WEEK BOUGHT AN IPad.. THIS app is my GOLD standard and none so far have measured up! Living in a rural area, RAINDAR is especially invaluable! It is clearer than anything I've seen, ever! 5/5

Galaxy Epic by anonymLove the simplicity, but jus doesn't work on my phone. Worked okay when initially installed in NY state, came home to Mich & after reinstalling twice, it still crashes often (first it thinks I'm in Tulsa (never been there), then moves to my city & shuts down or it crashes when I try to zoom in once I'm in the correct city). 2/5

Radar without the fluff. by anonymI really love having a quick load radar app. Other apps have tons of clunky extras, links to forecasts, and way too many adds, but this app is slick and works great. The only add on I would suggest is a key for weather types. I live on a fluctuating temperature belt and I can't quite tell if it's slush, ice, freezing rain, or even hail. Otherwise it works great! 4/5

Used to work great by anonymThe compass feature is gone after this last update. Stopping to look for landmarks to get my bearings and orient the map is a pointless hassle since the compass was close enough even in the midst of fog. Now I have to open a separate compass app or search the horizon and hope I can figure it out. I am using a DROID RAZR maxx. 3/5
I did love it, but... by anonym****** Old review... I'm an amateur weather nerd, and this app allows me to track storm cells. You can click on each cell and get even more info. Great free app, keep up the good work. Galaxy nexus ****** update. For a while now it will restart my phone as soon as I tap the icon to load the app. Dunno what that is about but it's not good. Actually 5-star, but... by anonym...I really would like to mark a number of locations for fast lookups, not just mine. I've got kids and other family all over the map. Still, this is an essentially perfect app. It does exactly what it promises. (Samsung GS3) 4/5
