Good at what it does. Would really benefit from being able to set an auto-backup time (seems to be arbitrary at the moment), and an option to limit cloud backup to only when plugged into mains power. Would make the app awesome. 4/5

I hate keeping years of texts in my messaging app, and this let's me file away those for safe keeping. Being able to view them anytime is a great feature as well. Don't switch ROMs without this app. 5/5

Does what it says with no problems. Although the upload to Google Drive sometimes fails on slow/unstable connections. Adding a retry delay period of 10 minutes or so would be nice. 5/5

After doing the restore process twice it only restored a few messages. Why is it so unstable? Random messages from different times, not even the latest. Terrible. Using textra 1/5

I'm sorry, but I couldn't find a way to automatically backup an incoming SMS to my Gmail account as soon as it has been received. All I could see is scheduled backups based on fixed time periods such as every 1 minute... 3/5

Have used this for years successfully, no reason to think otherwise. This time the app just got stuck at 0/x messages and never started. Oh and then it deleted all the backup files I had so I can't try a different app! Thanks for losing years of precious messages due to app instability. 1/5

Impressed, is a small word, this is a super awesome tool... I managed to completely backup my SMS not only on my phone, but directly on google drive... And restoration was a breeze as well... Highly recommended to backup your SMS regularly and a life saver if ever ur phone crashes or for some reason u need to factory reset your Android device 5/5

The only reason I got the "paid" version was to support the development of this already awesome app. How can an awesome app be better in my opinion? * Delete All Messages option - Set a random password to make sure the user really wants to delete all (similar to Reset to Factory default in Android) * Delete All Messages - should have a progress bar. Every time I do this, it has taken hours and I'm not sure if the app just crashed or if there's any progress Other than those two recommendations, two thumbs up for the developer! Please continue to enhance your already awesome app! Millions rely on people like you! 4/5

I needed an alternative to SMS backup+. SMS BACKUP & RESTORE is far superior. It has more options and features than SMS backup+. SMS BACKUP & RESTORE has options to backup to cloud, email, local and on your sd. I have used Sms Backup+ for years and it was my preferred sms text backup tool. All that has changed. Thanks to SMS BACKUP; & RESTORE by Ritesh Sahu Tools All of my 2 thousand plus text messages were restored to my new phone with, the exception of three sms messages; with the correct time stamp & date which is very crucial to me. My text messages from 4 years ago still intact with the correct time and date stamp. Four and a half stars for this app . Special thanks to the developer. IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE : THIS APP MUST BE YOUR DEFAULT MESSENGER APP DURING THE RESTORE PROCESS AND YOU CAN SWITCH BACK TO YOUR PREFERRED MESSENGER AFTER THE RESTORATION IS COMPLETE.
