Last update very slow start by anonymGalasy s5, lollipop, before the last update aldiko was very fast to start and even faster after the second start from cache. After the update very slow (around 3 sec) and second start is also slow. 2 stars. 2/5
Won't allow install by anonymI had to remove. Try to reinstall and constant "Can not install to USB or SD card" error. I am not trying to install to either! I use to love this app. Please fix! 1/5

Still fails large imports by anonymI thought the author might have fixed the large book library import failure but it remains as it was more than a year ago. Still can't import more than about 875 books. After years of collecting I have thousands.Breaking the files in to into separate directories didn't work. Why can't you fix this AND speed up the import function, slow doesn't describe the wait. 2/5

Don't spoil the ending! by anonymI like not knowing how far I am in a book so I don't know when the ending is coming. But since a recent update, whenever I try to exit the app, the progress bar shows. It was better when I could hit the back button and go to the library. 4/5

Option to integrate dictionary by anonymI want to integrate my dictionary app with Aldiko book reader. Whenever I'm reading a book and want to look for the meaning of word, I just highlight the word and there I want an option to look for the definition of this word in the dictionary app I've installed on my phone. Please provide the same in the next update. 4/5

excellent by anonymWould be an excellent new feature to allow conversion of PDF to EPUB. At present I manually convert PDF to EPUB on Windows PC then import the EPUB onto my phone. Generally viewing a PDF on a phone is unusable as you have to zoom in to view but then have to continually pan from side to side. 5/5

Lacks the dictionary feature by anonymThis book reader is the best out there. It used to have a nice dictionary feature but now it shows meaning using browser which is kind of annoying. Hope it gets the dictionary feature again. Otherwise it is perfect. 4/5
by anonymWhen it works, I really enjoy this app. It navigates easily, I like the library views, and I can easily find the files to edit my cover images. But everytime it updates I have to uninstall and reinstall the entire app, and I loose all my collections, ratings, and where I was in the book. Very annoying. 3/5
Recent update issues by anonymRecently released update has cause multiple issues: unexpected crash, hanging, abnormally going to home screen while reading book, too much battery usage, high cpu utilisation. Please release fix for all above. Let me know where logs are stored so I can share them for analysis. 5/5
Light problem by anonymI hate app doesnt let u adjust ilumination level, and there is hard to get opened general menu u have to touch many times for get there, it need to be more simple and with more tools for get a better experience 2/5
After update, Chinese words/don't cannot be displayed by anonymG8 reader. But after recent update, epub books encoded in Chinese no longer work. The words are now just blocks. Hopefully it is a simple fix. 4/5
Problems with wifi by anonymNot sure when it started, but whenever it's running, I constantly reconnect to wifi. Not good if I have it open in the background, doubly so if I'm actively reading (stops page turning while the little message is displayed). A small gripe on a solid app. Fix it, please? 4/5
Poor Customer Service by anonymIf writing a bad review is the only way I can get some help, then so be it. I have emailed several times and I have yet to receive a reply. I need to activate another device, my eBook reader died. Over $100 in books and I'd like to read them. What a shame you don't care at all. Wtf? by anonymI thought that this was a very good app but after finding out that there is only 1 Agatha Christie book and absolutely 0 j.r.r Tolkien books I changed my mind...having these giants of the written world absent does not fair well for the allover collection of reading material...also u can buy audio books but app doesn't support them either......?????????????? I also noticed quite a lot of typos in the most unlikely places and not one image is visible on the pages.... 2/5

Credit card!!!???not safe!!!! by anonymI entered my credit card details. It's not a Google app so they take your money even if you don't have a credit card on Google wallet. The only way to remove it it's to go through emails in hope they will fulfil your request. So if you have children who love books and click on all the books they love , you are guaranteed to be poor in one day! 1/5
Image rendering bug still exists by anonymBasically any page with an image is displayed as blank. So this means if your book has fancy images on the start of chapters the whole page is shown as blank. Developers know about it, issue persists after latest update. I'm uninstalling after years of using the product and going with a reader that works. 1/5
