Exactly what I was looking for! by anonym As an engineer I have grown very attached to my graphing calculator. I always seems to find myself in a situation where I need my calculator but do not have access to it. I have searched for years to find a good alternative before stumbling across TI emulators. After finding the right ROM ("TI-ROMPack.rar") I got this app working. I was tempted to purchase the AlmostTI application for $4.99 but found that it too required the Roms provided by texas instrument and was essentially the same application as this. 5/5
Nexus 7 GS3 Inspire 4g by anonym I've used this app for years now with a variety of devices and it always works great. Perfect for when you want to do your math homework but don't want to have to pull out your calculator. Just a word of advice to students though most teachers and professors still will not let you use your phone on a test for obvious reasons so make sure you have access to a real calculator. 5/5
Such Nostalgia! by anonym Easily the best calculator option for the android. As a math teacher/tutor, it is SO nice to have my TI-83+ on my phone! I am curious if it would be possible to utilize the CPU of the phone to work the emulator into an "overdrive" mode to improve to speed of certain programs and functions? That would warrant a "six stars" rating from me. 5/5
Nearly Perfect by anonym The very fact that apps like this exist only seeks to completely re-affirm that I made the right decision in buying an Android phone. The only thing that could possibly make this app any more awesome would be TI-84+ SE support. 5/5
Broken after last update by anonym Usd to be my number one calculator, and but after last update it freezes my phone until it reboots. Samsung galaxy note, running ics. Edit: after yet another system update from samsung the forced rebooting has stoppped. Problem solved for me 5/5
Very convenient!! by anonym This is a very convenient app because you don't always have a calculator on you but you always have you're phone. The only bad thing about it and the reason it gets 4 stars is the battery usage. This thing suck battery like crazy. One say I used it for about an hour and battery stats said it used 22% of my battery. Overall great app though 4/5
.Ti 83+ and se no work by anonym Ti 83 works. But not the se and plus version. Tried diffferent roms too. Also it kills battery pretty fast 3/5
Get this app! by anonym I use it all the time at work, everyone is impressed and wants to know how to get it on their phones! Prove your elementary school math teacher wrong - always have a full blown calculator in your pocket! 5/5
Galaxy s2 by anonym The app only tried to find its own data to operate, with zero success of finding TI-82 ROM. This app is only a nonfunctional image of a graphing utility. 1/5
Almost perfect by anonym Probably the best graphing solution available for Android. Would be perfect of it weren't for the slow/laggy input - like if you type to fast it won't register all the keypresses, this might only be my TI-83 ROM though. Great app otherwise, totally recommend it! 4/5
Best Math App Ever by anonym i downloaded this with lukewarm feelings but now i am so happy about this. i tend to misplace my calculator often but not i do not need to have the calculator with me all the time!!! its the next best thing besides actually having the calculator in your hands. 5/5
Barebones Ti calculator by anonym Since it emulates a ti calc that means it takes just as long plotting whatever you ask it to graph - which is probably unavoidable. Considering those calculators' CPUs run at about 8 mhz I was hoping my phones dual core 1.4 ghz processor would make it instantaneous, but I can't fault the developers for for making it too similar to the original product. Would like to be able to load downloaded programs for the rom emulated so I won't have to type them in manually. Seriously best graphing calc available 4/5
Pretty great by anonym Emulated TI83+ ran about 4/5ths speed against a real one on a Samsung Galaxy note 2. Only complaints: ROM search should be manual rather than automatic, and haptic feedback should either be weaker or customizable. 4/5
TI can suck it! by anonym I've purchased at least 3 TI-8x's over the years and all of them died (screen failure). TI still charges over $100 for the same calculater it made over 20 years ago. WTF? Now I can give TI the "finger" and legally use the calc I bought three times over. No 4x AA batteries, No flaky screen issues, just a great working graphing calculator! Buy this and support the developer for making a rock-solid z80 emulator. *Note: you will need to dump a BIOS image from a working TI Calc ... Interwebs ...* 5/5
Excellent! by anonym Saved me from having to buy another ti-86. I already had the ROM file from an old one that had seen better days. Now with this app I am able to use my phone and tablet as one. Thanks! 5/5
TI-83 ROM Forever Frozen by anonym Don't press 2nd > Mem. You may regret it. Found another app that supports TI-89 Titanium ROM. 2/5
Galaxy Note 2. WORKS! by anonym Any way I can add MY dope wars program to my phone and play it with this emulator? 5/5
Does not work at all by anonym How do I calculate 1+1 on this thing? Apparently there are all TI8* .tile files in my cache, but I cannot type anything in. Big fail! Samsung Galaxy tab2 7.0 1/5
Phone won't open Rom file by anonym I am only giving it 1 star because for some reason my phone will not open the ROM zip file on 2shared or on the emulator site this app suggests. What am I doing wrong? 2/5
It might work but... by anonym First you have to find the TI rom you're looking for. Not a huge deal. You have to place the file on the root of any of your SD cards (internal or external). Then you go into settings and select your rom. The only problem is that the "cannot find rom" message that covers half the screen doesn't go away. Even after you're booted into and using the calculator. 4/5
