I love this app. Great navigation and surprisingly good pronunciation of some very South African names. I only wish it displayed my current speed in addition to the speed limit and warnings - a feature I really miss as my old Nokia used to have it... 4/5

150 m lag on gps relative to map. Their address I live 350m away on other side of road. Won't recognise going 'off road' up my driveway. Says free trial. Had to buy map for offline. Went to navigate, need to register - more money I suppose. FAT CHANCE 1/5

This is a big problem if the GPS app does not support Zip Code search when entering the destination address. There are many roads and streets in the cities of USA having the same name, if you cannot distinguish them by zip code, you will get confused when you just entering the street name and city name. Zip code searching feature needed to be added for the future development. 3/5

I have been a satisfied user until the recent update. The voice couldn't be sent through bluetooth to my car stereo system and the car audio system was completely muted when a voice command was read. 3/5

Answer to your comments: Show current street in portrait mode, Announce destination's road side (right/left) before reaching the destination, Improve pronunciation of many abbreviations in English, Rerouting improvements (travel via) are just a few of many other suggestions that have been IGNORED FOR MORE THAN 6 MONTHS. It seems Wyoming is south of New Mexico, and where it should be is a unnamed state, and plotting a course to an address in Carlsbad NM from Roswell NM takes you through Ft. Worth TX. Unistalled.. 1/5

Brilliant navigation app. I've used TomTom, navigon, sygic, Waze, Google, Copilot and others. Route 66 Navigate gives the best combo of routing, automated traffic detection and avoidance on Play Store. For routing around traffic it's on par with Tomtom's new Go series of standalone PNDs. Excellent customer support. I've reported a few bugs since launch and all have been quickly fixed. I recommend using with Ivona TTS for natural sounding voice directions. 5/5

Worked great for 6 months. Now I get an I/o error on launch with a crash or not enough disk space. Got 25gb free on the phone and 50gb free on the sd card. (htc one m8 on lollipop) No problems using it on android powered car radio running jelly bean. Bugs need to be worked out or going to sygic 2/5

Been trialing loads of different navigation systems through the play store over last couple of weeks , even bought some then I came across Route66. Staying with this, interface is superb uncluttered, easy to read, GPS is spot on, cameras are good and seem up to date, spoken direction very good using Play store IVONA for speach output. Maybe a little more thought for lane guidance but still works well, only used for day and half but done plenty of miles to get a feel for it. Btw, traffic works really well... 4/5

This app has impressed me. The animations during navigation are super slick and smooth....no other app cones close, making this very pleasing to the eye while driving. Nevertheless the colors and UI could use some tweaking to make it more pretty, informative and less cluttered at a glance while driving. Maps are also highly accurate and updated. My only complaints are that route recalculation is very slow, ETA is very slow to update and TTS is appalling. Otherwise great app. 4/5

I've been trialling R66 for a month. While generally ok, it does appear 'over keen' to reroute around trivial traffic jams. Yesterday, it rerouted me around what turned out to be a mile of slow moving traffic (I wish the traffic display would estimate the delay time like TT does which gives the user a chance to make an informed decision about whether to reroute or not), the route it chose was was some 8 miles longer and an error with a motorway junction (it tried to make a left turn where there was none) caused even more grief. Also noticed that the maps are not as up to date as Tomtoms (I know of at least one missing roundabout on my commute which Tomtom correctly shows). Don't get me wrong, R66 isnt bad by any means, it just seems a bit 'off' when rerouting. 4/5
