The best file manager! by anonymAlready using other file manager so many times, so far this is the best file manager I come across, and really love it 5/5
When it works it is great by anonymBut it often does not work. It takes way to long to initially open a remote share and most of the time it fails to even do that. Sad thing is that this is still the best app for Android. The competition doesn't even allow streaming like this does when it works. So I keep rebooting my device and clearing cache hoping this works 1 out of 10 tries. Maybe newer versions will fix the bugs with slow directory scanning and connecting. 3/5

A must-have for every phone! by anonymThis is the best file explorer for Android I ever used. Since it is jampacked with useful features, I can't find any reason to uninstall it. It even deserves 10 stars! Only downside since KitKat, apps like this were restricted with what they can do on external storages so you would need to root to modify your files on your microSD using ES or just stick with your default file manager. 5/5
No longer list's videos by anonymLove the app, up until a few days ago. The movies bookmark no longer lists all of my videos. That is the main feature I use and now it's broken. 3/5

Won't display hidden files anymore by anonymSince update "display hidden files" in settings doesn't do anything anymore so can't view hidden folders and files. Please fix to go back to 5 stars. 3/5

Bluetooth by anonymWhere can I find the "Share" option, for example I will transfer multiple files thru bluetooth? Before I usually just mark 'em then tap "share" then choose "bluetooth" and thats it, now im trying to look for it but i was not able to find it. Little help guys, thanks. 3/5

Used to be awesome by anonymSomeone decided to make libraries a separate section on the side which can't be accessed when attaching to gmail. Not possible to access "documents" folder on this version for attaching files. 5/5
Files not correctly arranged by anonymFiles starting with numbers aren't arranged correctly. It should be 1,2,3,4 not 1, 101,102, 2, 201, 202, 3 etc. 3/5

Best out there! by anonymWorks great with both local as well as with cloud and network data. Opens a lot of files internally. Has more options than I need. Thanks devs for hiding the sidebar by default; which just wasted valuable screen space... it's all around a great app! New UI looks great too! 5/5
By far the best file explorer by anonymThis is hands down the best file managing app packed full of essential functions that's easy to navigate and fool proof. Can't belive such an application is and has been free for all this time, ES team keep up the good work, appreciate the time, effort and thought that you guys have put into making this the best application that every Android user should have on their device. 5/5
3 issues by anonym1. When copying directories, their timestamps aren't preserved. 2. SMB copying speed is way too low - via HTTP I get around 13 megabytes per second (802.11n), and only 3.6MB/s via SMB, I.e. 3,5 times less. 3. Stop messing with root access!! 4/5
How? by anonymHow do you use it? There is no help function, and I couldn't discover how to move files from the download directory to new or existing folders. It needs a drag and drop. I'm unintelligible this app 1/5
Disappointed By Updates by anonymCause it doesn't deletes or moves my internal storage files which can be deleted or moved in default file manager and please add more themes otherwise i should have given *5*s*t*a*r*s* 3/5

Why is this app not five stars? by anonymThis app is awesome!I had this app for more than two years across a bunch of android devices, new and old. Its just perfect. At the beginning I did't like it that much becuase of the usability. But after you know where everything is, like how to do move files and such, it becomes the most useful app in my decive. Especially when the device is rooted. It packs a load of features that is really useful at times needed. 5/5

Excellent FM by anonymFile manager is Excellent, bt in some latest release, I found a bug, of refreshing current page automatically, which is really a irritating bug. Please fix it. After that, 5 starts.. :) 4/5
Cannot recognize music files by anonymSo recently I've tried moving all my music into 1 folder by using ES but after I did it, all my music players cannot recognize and play them. It took me 2 days till I can realize how to solve it: I had to use File Manager- the phone's default program to move those music files so that other music players can browse and play them. I've tested it, so I guess this is some sort of problem from ES? :/ 3/5
Chromecast plugin file support limited by anonymThe chromecast plugin still has limited video file format support eg AVI. Please fix this n all typo also so 3stars for now. Still the best file manager for android though. 4/5

Needs separate views for specific folders by anonymI really wish they would add separate view settings for different folders. One size fits all isn't suitable for a file manager. 2/5
What's the point of having an extra file manager if you can't manage any file with it. by anonymIt doesn't work properly in 4.4 above version. I use a 4.4.2 android, I'm not able to edit or delete the files through es file manager. And i know about the Google security set up, but you got to do something before everyone gets their android upgraded. 5/5
