Handy and accurate by anonym Nice graphic interface. Very useful in finding and sorting options for connecting. Love the add to list feature to remind me of where i found the good service last time i was there. 5/5
Good by anonym Would like better signal strenghths, but so far it works good i can get into everything. 3/5
excellent the one only app that knows what is for. by anonym could be amazing useful when travelling to use offline finding wifi near you very good well focused on mobile needs anywhere you might be 5/5
Indispensible by anonym Not just a WiFi finder. This is also a smooth WiFi manager, allowing me to remove another app. 5/5
Hit & Miss by anonym For me this app is a bit of a hit and miss because it works 5 timed out of ten for me but when it works superb service ! 4/5
Support for European characters needed! by anonym I guess this app uses UTF-8 as character encoding, but in Europe there are plenty of special characters in names that are shown as a question mark ('?') in the app, and this its very annoying. Support for European character encodings would be a great plus. 4/5
Excellent app, highly recommended. by anonym The app tells me everything I need to know about Wi-Fi location, strength and access. 4/5
needs saving process by anonym I absolutely love the app... except that it won't save the info or let me make a Favorite list. Fix That & I will rate 5 stars. 4/5
Not bad. Could use a few features... by anonym It does what it says. Something I'd add are the hours of operation for a hotspot [where applicable]. 4/5
Disappointing by anonym The offline database doesn't download. Some of the most common hotspots are missing eg. Libraries and local cafes 2/5
Galaxy Tab 3 by anonym It's a great app when I use it & find the wifi connect to my tablet & phone to be connected. Thanks! 5/5
Awesome way to find wifi by anonym My uncle is always taking my wifi hotspot and with this app i found it in a matter of minutes :D 5/5
Not thorough by anonym The application is overall adequate. To be really useful, you need to load the offline database. If it doesn't load the first time it asks you, there is no way to force it to download. Does not show small business wifi's no matter how many times I tag them. 3/5
Nexus 7 - ok now with 16 Feb update by anonym Update 25 Jan means the app no longer work on my Nexus 7, and cannot find anything as good. The offline database did not work, but everything else did. Tried again May 2013, 'cos it's a good app, and now it works properly on N7 so definitely recommend this app. 5/5
Excellent app by anonym Performance is terrific. Interface is intuitive. Wifi locations are accurate enough to be very helpful. 5/5
Nice app by anonym I love it, and like but four stars ? because i can't hack in to browse, so fine a way for us to be able to hack though 4/5
Excellent by anonym Very very nice program, only a few glitches: -you sometimes need to tap several times before a command reacts -all phone numbers are formatted as US 2/5
Needs location updates by anonym Showed me a cafe that's been closed almost two years! Luckily I knew that and didn't waste time going there. Call ahead to be sure the places on the map actually exist. 3/5
Crap by anonym Doesn't point in the right direction, when i know exactly where the signal's coming from. The reading on the scanner is all over the place. Would be extremely useful if it worked. One star. Would be zero if i could put it. Keeping the app though, in the hope that it'll be fixed. Samsung galaxy discover 1/5
Excellent, works good for GPS by anonym Very good application, easy to install, works perfect, 5/5
Good app! Room for improvement by anonym Visually appealing. Good interface. Jumps around a lot, though. Throw in a good GPS feature and it gets 5 stars. 4/5
Jiwire is awesome! by anonym I had Jiwire on my tablet and enjoyed it so much I had to put it on my phone! It's so EZ to use and looks cool too! It's fun to sit in a crowded space like the Dr office and scan. Like a game, guess who's carrying which AP! Kills time and is very useful. Great app! Keep up the good work! 5/5
Says gps if disabled when out is not. by anonym Hard to rate Sth that won't run. All it does is say GPS is disabled. Does not matter that other apps can use gps. Don't know what it wants. Total waste of space on my phone galaxy s2. Maybe it works on other phones, but i don't know 1/5
Love by anonym This app is great, it's better than great. I love it. I love being able to use my own app or free ones in other area. 5/5
Are all the hotspots safe? by anonym App is quite good but is unsure if the free Wifi Hotspots are safe-to-use as hackers might be able to use free Wifi Hotspots to infiltrate our phones. 3/5
Its ok by anonym It seems to help me find the right connections seeing how I'm not that good at doing it manually 4/5
Wonderful instrument. by anonym I found it to be so easy to use. I was surprised to see that even when I increased the coverage area, it continued to show the places where I could find Wi-Fi. Incredible! I just love it. Thozi. 5/5
Requres internet. Absurd by anonym Cant map anything without the map. Needs internet to create spots, but i need to be able to map without the internet. Absurd, this and similar apps are just the same. Why no one using openstreemaps ? 1/5
Not bad, best I've found by anonym Would be nice if it would tell u the business name 4/5
Very useful by anonym This Wi-Fi Finder application it helps me to find free or paid Wi-Fi hot spots anywhere in the world.Very useful when travelling, easy to use, works both online or offline with map included.Love it. 5/5
Average by anonym On the radar screen all of the access points are jumbled in the upper left corner, not even on the radar sweep. They stay that way no matter how much I move around. The rest is no better than any other wifi finder. 2/5
Great idea but... by anonym The map wifi finder identifies a lot of places but it's not accurate. Half of them are closed (permanently). I do not easily see a function to let the program know that the location is closed or non-existent. Also, it does not interface with my phone's GPS. The "get directions" feature says "cannot connect". So I need to go to Google maps and enter the address, instead of being able to link the two, or use the program GPS. Suggestion?... Make it easier for users to report or update the location info. 2/5
A lot for a little by anonym It seems that the app is pretty heavy for the one thing it does.. Find wifi spots. Most of the time the app will scan away and provide a long list of protected networks, and possibly a distant open network that's too weak to use. Of course this could certainly be "operator error"? 4/5
Good idea but some issues by anonym This is a great idea, however some poor execution: 1. Program crashes or lose data when I switch to a different app. 2. When I'm in an unknown area program is unable to figure out where I am unless there is wifi connection. This program is supposed to find nearby free wifi connection when I don't have any. Needs to be able to use GPS to figure out where I am when there is no wifi. 3/5
Accuracy by anonym About 90 percent a few spots that are actually free, come up on the search as you have to pay for it other than that pretty good 4/5
no good by anonym Its no good as far as i can see as it keeps stopping on me everytime i try to open it so to me its only wotht a star 1/5
Useful app, with one caveat by anonym Great app, but badly needs one new feature. Please enable moving the 55 MB offline database to the External SD card if desired! Unless you have a phone with 8 or 16 GB of internal storage, that is a rather large file tying up space. 4/5
NOT SURE by anonym IT FINDS THEM BUT I CAN'T GET HOOKED ON THE ONES THAT'S FREE UNLESS IM VERY CLOSE TO THE PLACE THAT HAS A STRONGER SIGNAL 3/5
Room for improvement by anonym I tried to map out my city's wifis but the app cannot run in the background and saving the locations of the hotspots I find. It also cannot utilise the GPS to pinpoint the accurate location of my wifi. Need these features. 3/5
Information out-of-date by anonym Did a local check of public wifi and 2 out of the 3 free spots belong to businesses that no longer exist. One has been gone for about 1 year. The other has not existed for almost 4 years. Suggest a feature that counts "missed scans" (scans conducted in an area where the wifi node should be detected but wasn't) and after missing multiple scans, the wifi node is removed from the database until it is once again detected and reported. Listing nodes that have not existed for more than four years is not good for anyone. 2/5
