This app is a must have for onsite support of Wi-Fi, it's a fantastic tool for divining overlap and signal strength issues. That said, why does this app need my location? Why does it fail to operate without it? 3/5

App can be very handy at times. Several reviewers complain about the location permission. It seems that the app needs this permission in order to get a detailed list of access points. That's not the fault of the app developer; it's the Android architecture. (Proof: if I disable location access on my rooted phone, the app just stalls while trying to get the list of access points.) 5/5

This is not a Wife Analyzer like I thought I had searched for. However, this did prove to be a very useful app for checking WiFi signal strength and channel congestion. To be clear, it will not tell you a single thing about your wife. 4/5

I love the design of this wifi stumbler, but whenever I look at the list of APs there are many that always appear in the list no matter where I am. I'm not sure if others are having this issue. I compared the AP list from another wifi stumbler app and those Phantom APs don't show up on them. 2/5

within 5 minutes of downloading this app i discovered that channel 8 which my wireless router was broadcasting on was only 50% of the signal strength of channel 6. accessed the router through my browser, changed to channel 6, and viola! signal strength increased dramatically. this app is a class act! Helped me find the best channel. I use it frequently to make sure my connection is the best it can be. Plus, it make me look like a Wi-Fi genius when I'm troubleshooting someone else's Wi-Fi. The only thing I can think of that would make it better would if it identified the types of Wi-Fi (a, b, g, n, or ac) 5/5

I just wish it could do a more general spectrum analysis. It can only show 802.11 networks in standard channel sizes. I'd love to be able to avoid pesky analog devices and other noise too! (Might be limited by hardware.) Please consider adding 802.11 ah support when it comes out. 5/5

Handy, great app. I was able to impress clients by showing them the data from this regarding their wireless networks. It goes a long way to show someone how much congestion there can be. I also fixed my Chromecast's connection issues with this! My Chromecast defaulted to 2.4 channel 6 and was conflicting with my router. 5/5

This was great to confirm what I suspected, that placing the wifi router in the basement wouldn't provide a strong enough signal upstairs. I mean, that's obvious of course, but it helped to see the exact signal strength difference between the two locations: -30db right next to the router, to -60db upstairs where the tv is. Every 10db is a 10x drop in power, so that means a 1000x weaker signal, which is ridiculously huge. This means it's worth sucking up the ugliness of the router in my living room, in exchange for the huge difference in strength. Maybe I can put it in my cold air return.... :-) 5/5

I have two AP's with the same SSID and different MAC addresses (one's an extender). I'm unable to switch from one to the other using the Connector Library. It doesn't realize they're different AP's. 4/5
