I love openstreetmap, but this app is ugly and I need to written hard to map a node 2/5

If you are going to produce GPS Traces for Open Street maps (OSM), you would pretty quikly run accross this app. It is very simple, it records the track and allows you to make GPS refrenced notes that you can see on the OSM editier. Pros: It is very simple and focuesed it does one thing and thats it. The GPS Refrenced notes is the best part of this app, you can take pictures, text notes or add any of the standard Nodes to your position. Cons: Wile the Node options are great you still have to lable them manualy in OSM, so there really not that usfull and they add a bunch of extra options to the app that i don't see my self using. You can not see your position or track on a map, meaning you can't see ware you are or ware you are going. You can not upload the pictures to the onlin editor Potlatch so you can only see the name of the picture. (this may not be true of the offline editer JOSM) What would make this app amazing: If you could see your track on the current map of the area. (online and offline) if you could upload to the online editor (Potlatch) from the app. 5/5

This app is simply great and huge help for any OSM editor. Just trace your track, add POIs as you wish, and directly upload the data to OSM. Could it be any simpler? :-D I wholeheartedly recommend it. 5/5

i would have liked to use this. it has lots of symbols to place, from camera's to bathrooms and so on. a bit confusing actually. but while it shows the accuracy, it became less and less as i used it. it started at 8m then stayed at 44m. then it lost the signal totally. and it didn't get it back. at some point the track reset and i was on a new track. if it worked it's a good way to mark out a park or something like that. except that there is no map to use so it's hard to use in that sense. and it starts recording as soon as it's on, i'm mixed about that as well. 2/5

No, it's not a "navigation" app, but it does an excellent job of recording tracks and various types of waypoints for OSM and other mapping projects. A "live" map view with offline mode would be nice, though. (Perhaps it could be made to use OSMAnd's vector maps?) 4/5

It's fairly well working but has some pretty irritating usability problems: -Not even a basic heading pointer, the little man just stands still and glides over the screen. -If the device or software crashes then any active trail you were recording will be gone. Can waste a lot of work. It should save to flash periodically. 3/5
