Home and Work address entry broken by anonym I can't enter my house number for my home address and I can't enter my street for my work address. I haven't even delved that deeply into the app and I'm already disappointed. 1/5
Brilliant app. What's not to like? by anonym Downloaded this and tested it on a 130 mile trip using downloaded map only and gps. No internet. It worked superbly. All you haters out there need to learn how to set up your own hardware before whinging that the app is faulty. You fools. 5/5
Unimpressed by anonym Tried it on phone and tablet. Just doesn't recognise postcodes. Even though they exist app says no... So 2months later I re install it. Guess what? Doesn't recognise my home postcode, despite the fact I have lived there for 7 years! Nor my work postcode, nor my daughters. It looks good guys: but really? I looked for a button lower than 1 star... UPDATE - I have just reinstalled it and it now gets me where I want to be; albeit not in the most obvious fashion. Home postcode gets me to the corner of my road, and it now gets me in the vacinity of work! Next week I take it on the road proper. Fingers crossed. 1/5
Imperfect (But other GPS apps fail) by anonym My phone: Samsung Galaxy Light. Tried other popular apps but deleted because all failed 1 simple offline search, Plus: Mapfactor & Sygic (freezing/crashing, though more features than Be-On-Road: Mapfactor incorrectly instructed turn left), Navfree & OsmAND (Switch between Search/Settings & Map View very inefficient; gimmick due to limiting number of free maps), & CoPilot doesn't provide free offline voice navigation. Other apps were not worth mentioning because either had poor reviews or lack essentials. 5/5
Almost perfect by anonym After three months of using this navigation, I found only one annoying bug. When offline, sometimes you cannot skip synchronization and consequently use the app. Thus the only certain way to use it is to initialize everything when online which is not always possible... 4/5
Mediocre GPS App by anonym I've been on a mission to find the best GPS Nav app for both my Android and iOS devices. Here are the plus and minus: Pros: Free with Voice. The graphics is nice a long with 3D. Voice in included in the base free edition. Cons: Maps movement and animation are choppy. No option to play music in the background. By default it displays your current road on the top bar right next the turn arrow. Makes you think that you need to turn at that road. Counter intuitive. All the other apps display the current road on the bottom of the screen while where you need to make a turn on top. The english instructions also doesn't seem like native English speaker. For example, instead of "Staying on the road," it said "Lead the Road." Nothing what language it was translated from. These are the annoying features. If it can remove these cons, I'll be willing to give it another shot. 2/5
Good by anonym Samsung S4..Was using google maps but phone was not charging while using..That was a problem..With be on road my phone is charging..Easy controls, location perfect on inch..This made my day ! 5/5
Not bad by anonym Not bad for free but a bit confusing to learn and the open source maps are nowhere near as good as Tom Tom, etc. Also cannot type street numbers when searching for a poi, so that's a definite negative. But for free it's ok 3/5
If only... by anonym This app already annoys before you can use it. Bad management of display light (why do you keep display on while downloading maps?). Definitely missing a resume feature when map download fails for unknown reason. Consider torrent! Ah. Nevertheless, I gave it a try. Even after updates my street isn't listed in the index. 1/5
Good for basic stuff by anonym Street names should be written on the street not across it - as this becomes confusing. Other then that is pretty accurate. Also the option to record a route is useless as you can't do anything with it when your route is completed ect... upload and send to friend 3/5
GPS signal problems by anonym Not connecting to my location in UK. Shows London when I'm in manchester. Have no problem with other nav apps. Downloaded this because looked better but dissatisfied it does not work!!!! Waste 1/5
Lost by anonym My street name is not on the map. Who are having issues I now understand. Google maps has my address but the issue I have with google navigation it was design for phones and not for tablets with GPS. This program is fine in that as I am using acer8 inch tablet 1/5
It is great, much better than my old garmin GPS. Highly recommend. by anonym One thing is kind of strang. When it directs you going straight the lady tells you turning right. 5/5
Slight issue by anonym I give this a 3 due to a minor issue. I live in the UK, therfore we use mph not kph yet there doesn't seem to be an option to change. Maybe in blind and it's there or maybe it's just not an option. Either way if you guys add it or let me know how to find it I'll move to 4 stars. Add a bike route and I'll give you 5 :) 3/5

by anonym Plus: very friendly user interface, language support. Contra: map is not up to date (cz). 4/5
Good, stable free app for offline navigation by anonym Works as advertised, the permissions it needs seem sensible (less likely to be a security scam), has never crashed. The app lacks some features: go home, go to work 4/5
cannot get home by anonym there is no way to put my home address in of-line no matter how I try. worked fine going from my home in Indiana to the Toronto airport through Google online, but once there I could not reverse the directions to get home. 3/5
