Not Sure by anonymhow come this app only go up to 1.20. when the busybox I have installed is now 1.22.? and still waiting for a reply, this app needs updating, bad support but good apps, 1/5
Flawless by anonymEvery single app this device creates is useful and generally bug free. This makes life easy for those of us who refuse to purchase devices that major mobile carriers still control. Did what it said it would do by anonymDefinitely the easiest way to install BusyBox (that I've come across so far) I just downloaded, hit install and done. I know it worked because I was able to change softkeys without a hitch since the SoftKeyz app requires BB. So all in all this app was definitely worth more than my time since it saved a lot of Googling and frustration. 5/5
I've never seen ads. by anonymDon't know what the rest of you are talking about. Of course, that may be because I have jrummy's ROM Toolbox which comes with an ad blocker! Shell out the two bucks or whatever for a priceless array of tools. 5/5
GREAT UPDATE ! ! ! INIT.D INTEGRATION IS FLAWLESS ! ! ! by anonymGreat BusyBox! All the symlinks are working great. Sets up with init.d flawlessly. This is a MUST HAVE APP for anyone with a rooted device. My ROOT operations seem to be FASTER, and my device in general just feels FASTER. Developer is very quick to respond to any and all questions. Trash. This app has caused me more agony than I care to share. by anonymWarning Will Robenson - Dangerous! Crashed during first install, created a boot-loop after crashed during second install, wouldn't launch so couldn't uninstall (on menu inside installer) after some corruption happened, somehow trashed the busybox binary and replaced it with a 0 byte file...Don't use it. I use Robert Ned...y's market Busybox (installer). One click, stable install, works great. And this dev is THE BEST I have run across. 1/5
Its a busybox! by anonymIt does what it should. Those moaning about ads know, or should know, what to do. Note with Criskelo rom Hydacore kernel LR2 radio. O/C to 1.6gig CHANTELLE ive a note and it downloaded fine. Are you rooted fully, except this? 4/5
Caution: Not suited for ZTE Blade (or ARMv6?) by anonymThe busybox binary this tries to install isn't suitable for at least CM7 on a ZTE Blade - it (and the chmod binary that is apparently used to install it) fails to launch with a linker error. Possibly it's also just not ARMv6 compliant. Symptom: The app just hangs at the "installing..." popup and leaves you with a broken busybox installation :( . 1/5
Works as expected, but if you ... by anonymWorks as expected, but if you experience problem of no symlinks to applets in /system/xbin, try to run the app in advanced mode instead. In my case it helped and I have all symlinks installed. UPDATE: I just upgraded to Jelly Bean and it seems to halt/reboot the whole system during symlinks creation process :( Very strange, though busybox and most symlinks were created succesfully. 4/5
Could not get it to work on my G2 running Android 2.3.4 by anonymTried all versions available at the time of this review, starting with the lowest one of 1.14.3. Each one resulted in the message, "Installing BusyBox failed." I was attempting to root my phone to be able to get a complete backup prior to resetting to factory defaults, because several of the apps I use regularly do not have setting export functions and the developers of those apps (NOT JRummy Apps Inc.) were not interested in adding export capability. Alas I ended up having to reset to factory defaults, with no backups. JRummy Apps Inc. tech support tried to help but ultimately it appears to be a device that they could not make compatible with this app. Because it never worked for me, I'm rating as one star. 1/5

Busybox Pro does not work with HTC EVO 4g. by anonymIt always was in system/xbin, smart install ok. since rooted with HTC Dev. Went and got the pro version of installer, could not install busybox. I have version 1.20.2.. After purchase it said installation failed. Said it has detected that this version cannot function with this version of BB. Try installing a different rom or fixing your system. Error was Reloc_library (1312) 2739 cannot locate android reboot. Cannot link executable. Lucky like all should know, backup, backup, backup. Need to fix it. And I am still waiting for an answer. 1/5
Ehmm. What? by anonymSo, Launching this app on my HTC Desire I couldn't click anything. Nothing responded at all. Finally I found out that if I pressed search, and then came back from the search box, I could scroll down and hit install! 3/5
Excellent! by anonymThis busybox installer let's you choose the version you want, which was helpful because my Samsung YP-GS1 is incompatible with latest busybox. Really fast too! 5/5
Busybox mistreats utf-8 by anonymash does not accept cyrillic letters from keyboard (the TerminalEmulator's Android sh does), yet it can show them in grep, tail and some other utils. The Extended Latin in utf-8 can be input (even the esperantic "e?o?an?o ?iu?a?de"). less mistreats some eols in utf-8; vi is unable to visualize a cyrillic utf-8 text. The visual $ and ^ do not work (seems to be a feature of busybox vi), moreover they freeze the terminal. Otherwise the package seems to be acceptable. 3/5
It's cool by anonymThis app has always done it's job. Its a great app to have. It doesn't work on my SIII for some reason. It fails to install any version of busy box. 5/5
