You cannot simply enter an address and have it take you there, it will only show how to get to streets not addresses and the navigation is horribly wrong every single time, LIke not even in the same state wrong. I wish the author didn't waist my time and mentioned it didn't even remotely work for anything useful in the description so I could have saved some time. 1/5

The PC version is very similar to the android version since I didn't want to install bluestacks. Well, did anyway because even though this interface is manageable, the map files are very limited with the POIs. If (.map) maps were updated, I may try this again. 3/5

when running a dashcam in the background. It does have bugs making it not very useful for navigation, and also will crash the display if there's a map rendering error (e.g. NH Lakes Region) though bg service will stay running. Pseudo 3D rendering is horizontally squashed, but acceptable. Doesn't save last state. It is however light on resource consumption and will be rendering a map before most nav apps have even loaded a UI, and runs well on low spec devices that more bloated apps may not even start up on. 3/5

It's a 5 star for me, even if the interface not too user friendly. What i liked most about this apps, is it's ability to get the latest map available online, aside from the "Offline" voice guided navigation. Offline, meaning the network will not be charging you, it will work 100% with only GPS & "Mobile Data" switched OFF. But for units with only A-GPS, you will be charged of course... I have an OSM account, and from time to time makes an update of routes or roads. I've observed that in lesser days, the updates I've edited on OSM was already shown on the maps using Navit®. So easy, just click on menu "Download Maps" and select the country you wish to download. If there's an update, it will be automatically noticed on the map screen. To the Developers of this Navit®, I salute you all. Excellent job... 5/5

Why a paid app is forcing me to go download other apps (when I am launcing Navit ? WHY ? Why a paid app wich claim towork offline force me to see other apps and because I am not connected I am not able to use the Paid app (Navit). Please fix this 4/5

Spent all evening downloading map and all I got was a white screen with a green dot. Don't bother with this app. The map download was very annoying. If you don't tap the progress bar after a while, the download will pause. I had to babysit the app and keep tapping it to keep the download moving. Spent the evening downloading a broken app. This app makes a good flashlight with it's white screen. 1/5

Great free - open source (multi platform) app, with maps from Open Street Map (you can choose other maps if you prefer). It is to GPS navigation what Firefox is for browsing or What VLC is for music. You don't need to connect your phone to the computer to upload maps (but if you want you can: you don't need to install anything and it doesn't require a specific OS). You can use it offline without any problem (to search and navigate to your destination), which is especially usefull when you are abroad. With Google Maps or Apple Maps you can't and with Ovi Maps search doesn't work very well offline. It works fast (on my Motorola Defy, Google Maps often freezes). Only downside: the menu could be more user friendly. This app deserves to get more mainstream attention. 5/5

I thought it was a proper working navigation app! How WRONG I was, the more I tried using it, the worse I realized this navigation is! - Reminded me of another app in it's infancy, "Waze", & Navit is NOT a complete polished navigation app! Roads are not complete, wrong directions, very laggy, & not user friendly, very confusing! - Love the concept, but hating the feel so far! Waze wins for Map Editing on the fly! Nice try tho! :-/ 1/5

Only let down by the search - no online ability - and though the offline is pretty good it is confusing to use. A keeper though and hoping for updates! 4/5
