Used the app to backup my phone because I needed to do a factory reset. Then used the app to try and restore my info, and although it reinstalled all the apps I had, it only brought back about 25% (if that) of my photos!!! Really wish I had chosen an alternative. 1/5

i was looking to perform a Full backup (Data, Apps, Settings, Media, etc) and this one read like it fit the bill. it created separate Data & Apps backups. after performing the factory reset, i re-installed MyBackup and attempted the Restore process. to my dismay, instead of transplanting the apps and settings, this utility simply copied the apks. since they didn't come from the play store, to install them i had to disable trusted publishers protection. after copying 200+ apks, i had to MANUALLY "Review,Approve,Install,Done,Repeat." through each one. all these APKs were being attributed to the one account i was on, instead under the accounts that some of them were paid for, rendering some of them "unregistered". after 2+ hours of installing the apps, i rebooted as instructed in order to "recover all data". NONE of the apps preserved their settings; no logins, no configuration. NOTHING. This completely defeats the purpose of using the utility. I could have manually added all the accounts back and let Google's own auto restore feature bring all the apps back under their rightful users. i'd give this negative stars if i could. 1/5

I've been searching diligently for an Android app that seamlessly, flawlessly, and with light speed (the speed is truly amazing) does exactly what it claims to do without a single hiccup. I love that it allows me to choose between having and not having rooted my device, since I'm still undecided on the root/not root issue. All the features are there for my requirements despite my non-rooted Galaxy S7 Edge. I also purchased 40GB extra cloud storage for $3/monthly and upgraded to Pro for $3.99/annually. Wow! 5/5

Beware subscription owners: If you have previously purchased a subscription to My Backup Pro, do not update the app, as the new version does not support pro subscriptions and you will not have access to the pro features of the app until you REPURCHASE the $6.99 PRO version. BAIT AND SWITCH 1/5

Due to the Samsung recall I purchased this app to backup a lot of apps, accounts, and configurations before turning it in. When I received my new phone and ran the restore it only partial restored some apps and settings. Many apps missing, and had to spend a considerable amount of time bringing my phone back to original state, not what I was hoping for with this application. 2/5

I wouldn't trust this developer for anything that requires a purchase. I paid for the pro features subscription so I could copy my home screen setting (folders, icons, etc) to my new phone and it didn't work. I got a fail error "Home Shortcuts: Failed: Provider not supported", and the developer did not respond within the 48 hours I had to request a refund from Google. Stick with one of the many other free apps for backing up your data. The only unique thing about MyBackup was copying the home screen layout, and that didn't work. 1/5

The whole gig is designed to get you to upgrade and then only useful if you need to recover or migrate old texts. Most of what it purports to recover already covered by Google. Support responds slowly if at all. Pretty arrogant 1/5

Great app for backing up and saving apps to a OTG thumb drive. One thing I noticed in the reviews after getting this app was people bitching about the app not working on another phone. I clearly saw that stated in the free version I downloaded and am totally happy with this app still. 5/5

Before installing the so-called free version, the user should be made aware that restore won't be able with this free version in case it's not to exactly the same device. Thus, restoring to your identical warranty replacement phone is a very surprising NO GO, let alone to any other device. In short, you install the 'free' version, but practically always end up paying for the pro version. The fact that this is not totally clear in advance reeks of misrepresentation of fact and even swindle. Be aware! 1/5

It was very user friendly I thought...ha!ha! Made my backup with ease. About 2 weeks later I wanted to use it. It restored the apps just great. But, guess what, it absolutely refuses to restore the data. THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART AND IT FAILED. I AM DISAPPOINTED BEYOND BELIEF NOT TO MENTION STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE THE LOSS OF THE DATA!!! 2/5

I tried doing a backup on Google Drive. Restore ended up a total failure. I tried to look at the zip backup and the error message said it was corrupted. I tried backing up again with Dropbox and it appears to be working now. Hopefully restore will work when/if I need it. 4/5
