by anonymWants me to turn on mobile hotspot but I apparently don't have that when it brings me to the settings that the app itself leads me to. I've looked through everything else and cannot find it. So... Pretty useless to me. I was looking forward to using this as a friend referred me to foxfi. But it won't allow me to use it unless I turn on the hotspot. Like I said though, I click the "go to settings" button that the apps pop up window wants me to do. If I hit cancel it just tells me it can't connect... 1/5
Bypasses prepaid sim restrictions by anonymWell as said it does bypass the lock of the mobile hotspot for prepaid sims if you enable the proxy. Not the nicest UI but does its job 4/5
Works on VZ Note 3 now VZ note 4 6.01/5.1.1/4.4 by anonym6/26/16. Updated to 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Working ios/android. Computer however does not , drops wifi. Have not usb thethered. 2/16/16. Updated my note 4VZ to 5.1.1 . Foxfi still works like a champ. Wifi to co.puter is iffy. If I use Firefox with user agent set to Ios browser it does not drop connection. Vz note 3 1/4/2014 update. Computer wifi it disconnects. Works great on vz note 4 4.4.4 5/5
Does nit work with Verizon droid turbo 2 by anonymDoes not work with droid turbo 2. Wifi hotspot is blocked by verizon however USB connection still works along with Bluetooth but connection is very slow with Bluetooth. Please fix the wifi hotspot. Currently running on the latest Android 6.0 1/5

Please respond ASAP by anonymWhen ever i switched to a new phone the pdanet for pc stopped working. It installed everything succecfully. I reisntalled drivers and everything but it says connecting usb. Then connecting usb2 then after that it says please enable pdanet on phone and enable usb tethering. When it is already enabled it says that please help. 1/5
Supports Windows 10 by anonymAfter fighting and trying to communicate to clockworkmod about adding support on teather for Windows 10 I got in a little fit. So... by anonymIf this is supposed to work without a tethering plan and without root, why is the only message I get that it can't start a wifi hotspot because my carrier doesn't allow it? Is your store listing just a ruse to get downloads? 2/5

Tethering by anonymWorked great for well over a year. Recently t mobile has changed something and now foxfi just uses up my Hotspot data instead of using the phone data plan, which is unlimited. Loved the app before when it worked, and hoping that there is an update coming so it works again. 1/5
works but at a slow speed by anonymmy t mobile hotspot limit has been reached and this ap just turns on my t mobile hotspot at the 128kb throttled speed that i already have on galaxy s7 edge. if i could get full speed i would gladly pay for app. 2/5

Stupid greedy verizon!! *UPDATE* 6/6/16 by anonymUgh verizon did it again... not only did they jack up our unlimited price... but found a way to get rid of our foxfi ( greatest app ever btw) I have confidence foxfi will find a way around :) * update** foxfi I never doubted you for a sec!!! I still have my unlimited data with verizon. And you managed to come through yet again, to let me hotspot for free!! I will be sending a donation to this app for sure!! You deserve to keep going. Can't live without it by anonymWith the key it works perfectly! Every once in awhile Verizon breaks it but this team manages to fix it within a few days. I honestly could not live without this app; we are too poor for internet prices around here and since we already pay for unltd data there should be NO reason why we can't use our data/wifi on larger devices. This app helps save working class people from corporate greed. 5/5
Best app ever by anonymLet me start this off by saying that this is the only app I've found useful enough to pay for. They're always right there with updates for Verizon's games trying to block them which is great. I've never had any problems watching Netflix on my TV in HD as well as having other devices using Wi-Fi also. Never even a hiccup after a good 6 months or more. I don't have cable or internet at home because of this app. It saves me about $100 per month. I would like to see the data counter go beyond 1 GB though. 5/5
Please help by anonymThe app worked great until today. I really love the app and i really need it but it stoped working. It says fail to create Hotspot. Please fix or tell me what i can do to fix it. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5. It got fixed and is working great again. Thank you very much 5/5
Ruined my phone by anonymI installed this app in hopes that I would be able to connect my gaming device to it, and it was a huge mistake. It kept shutting off after 15 minutes. Even tho it shut off it still used my data. My phone won't let me remove the lock screen, it keeps freezing and I keep getting notifications that it is being monitored by a third party user. This app has ruined my phone and I have a galaxy note 4. My advice to you, is if you install this app make sure you install it on a cheap throw away phone 1/5

I love this app but... by anonymI love this app and it worked well on my VZW phone, but now I have a Galaxy S7 for cricket and it wont work as mobile hotspot. It does work tethered, but I need the hotspot feature because I can't install the necessary software on my work computer for tethering. I wonder if they'll ever support it for cricket. I have the paid version but it no longer works for me. VZW users are lucky, Cricket users not so much. 4/5
Need help by anonymHas worked great in past for years but just recently it won't allow me to click the ok button to activate the VPN. Thought my phone was freezing up but it let's me hit the cancel button just fine. I have a galaxy S5 and it was working fine 2 weeks ago. Its telling you that android 7.0 update took out the wifi mode. So stop saying that google pixel doesnt work. Its not the phone. Its android 7.0 !!! by anonymWould be 5* if it bypassed the verizon sim check so i could use hotspot with carrier other than vzw. Worked flawlessly until i switched to another carrier. Not the app's fault verizon phones have the check in place to only allow hotspot to be enabled with a verizon sim. But would be awesome if the dev could find a work around. 4/5
Doesn't work on 3 by anonymInstalled and purchased full version. Even with the option selected to hide tethering usage... 3 knows and deducts from any allowance. I have unlimited data with 4Gb tethering (hot spot) this was all eaten up... even with hide usage option selected. May work with other service providers but not with the 3 network... Samsung Galaxy S7... I've been refused refund as they don't know gmail is short for googlemaill... and didn't recognise the shorted version when request for refund was made lol 1/5
Annoyed by anonymIt acted like it was working as an independent hotspot. I still got a message from MetroPCS about my hotspot data usage. Failed. Tried USB tether and paid for it. PDA net doesn't see I have a connection unless I use my hot spot/built in tethering. Even paid for the key. Tried on three different lg phones. Same result. 2/5
Love it by anonymFun reading reviews from people that don't understand how things work. This app is great to get around your carrier blocking hotspot use. It won't fix your data limit or your carrier cutting your speeds. That's on the carrier. It does use your hotspot or tethering. If you pay for Hotspot use, you may not need this, but anyone with an unlimited data plan probably doesn't have the ability to Hotspot. This app fixes that. 5/5
Great app by anonymI have a ZTE zmax on metro pcs. I have unlimited 4g lte and this app does wonders. Some times I have problems but I think it's mainly my internet on the phone or my crappy laptop that likes to be a butt. I paid after trying the free version to make sure it worked. I suggest that all new users try the free app first. Carriers have the right to block certain apps and the developers of this app have to work hard to keep up with all the new phones and updates the carriers pump out. Be patient if it doesn't work 4/5
Pixel XL problem by anonymHave used this app on several devices and always loved it. Like others, switched to Pixel XL and getting pop up regarding provider not allowing it. Hopefully the Dev will find a solution. Still giving 5 stars for all the great usage I have gotten so far. 5/5
Finally figured it out! Screen dimmer takes it out! by anonymIt took almost 2 years but the marshmallow release on my S5 complained about a third party screen dimmer, well, after turning it off, everything works as its supposed to! Oddly, that screen dimmer screws with eBay too. Check it out! Ap guys, you should make a release to alert users to look for that! 5 stars! 5/5
The best tethering workaround out there by anonymHave used it on my Galaxy Nexus to feed internet to my entire house for the last year. Works flawlessly using my unlimited data plan w/out hotspot service needed. Currently wifi tether not working on Google Pixel patiently awaiting update. 5/5
Love It by anonymI have used this app for the last three years approximately, and it is great. Once or twice my carrier had blocked the app from working but in a day or two it's back up and working. I use this app at least 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. I connect with my tablet and stream Iheart radio, Netflix, Hulu, and Crackle. Works great!!!!!I have no idea what I would do with out this app. I would give ten stars if I could. 5/5
by anonymI would give it a better review if only it worked on newer devices. I own a turbo 2 phone, and the first time I needed to use this app, it simply notified me that this app won't work with newer devices unless I have a mobile hotspot plan. I had purchased this app when I owned an older device (Droid Bionic) and whenever I transferred all my apps to my new device it didn't work. So if there's any way to get it working again on newer devices, please notify me. But until then, two stars. 2/5
Confirm works s7 by anonymI have verzion old unlimited package and this app works great with it. Have been a payed member of foxfi since 2012 so I don't have to deal with short cut off times, and I can set type and strength of wifi passwords. Area im at right now I have a 40 mbps down and 60 up with verzion and app is handling 2 labtops, wifes phone and xbox. No problems. That said, do research before you buy. Not all phones work and not all providers have had work arounds made. So ya, mine works so I love FoxFi. 5/5
Is it safe to upload Watermelon? by anonymI love thia app. Old review below. just stopped working one morning. great app. I have used it for years without a problem. only rated one star with hopes of getting a response from foxfi people. I have a Samsung s5 and have not upgraded to lollipop yet still running KitKat .......... Somehow my file got corrupted. I was able to uninstall the program and then reinstall it. It worked for a month and quit again. 5/5
Love it by anonymI love this app! We do not have internet where I live so this is the only way I can get my devices online and they are AWESOME! If you need need or want a wifi hot spot then this is the app for you. If there is ever a problem they get on it right away to fix it. In the 10 yrs i have had this app there has only been 5 times that it went down for a few days (and that is because the cellphone company was trying to block it) but they fixed it and i was up and running again.Thank you FoxFi for a amazing service. 5/5
BEST WIFI HOTSPOT by anonymBy far surpasses any of the bs 'hotspots' available in the app store. I've been through ALL of them. None of them work, or they're full of ads every click of the way. NONE have compared in connectivity, user friendly interface, straight forward terms, no crazy or aggressive ad campaigns, and great customer service. Can't get any better. Thanks for making such a great app available to bypass the big multi billionaire communications corporations that never give anything back to humanity. 5/5
Great but doesn't work on ST phone by anonymUsed this app to flawlessly hotspot my Verizon s4 that's switched to straight talk. It was so good my son could get full wifi signal from 100 feet away. I bought a s7 through straight talk and Fox fi won't work with it. ST disabled the hotspot in the settings and while foxfi will let you enable hotspot, something from ST is preventing ip address from being distributed so any phone trying to connect will never fully connect. Besides that, it's an amazing app for phones not sold by straight talk. 4/5
It was good by anonymSo i have an unlimited plan with Sprint on my samsung galaxy s6.. but all this time i thought i was using my unlimited data. I just started receiving emails that I'm almost reaching my hotspot limit since my plan comes with 3GB of hotspot... i dont think this is worth it anymore, i tried doing all the steps too and refunded my money since it didn't make a difference whole i was testing it out with the free one... unless someone can help me 2/5
Foxfi & PDA Net by anonymI have used these aps on many different phones to include Motorola, LG & Samsung for many years now and I am extremely happy with them. Has saved me lots of money by not paying for hot spot service to my cell service provider and not having to have another Internet service for my home. Two big thumbs-up and a pat on the back to the app provider. 5/5
Works by anonymUpdate. Now app has robust connection, but it is slow. I used to peak at over 2000 kbps now it's at 500 kbps. The connection speed gradually decays during session. I called Verizon and they did something that helped speed the connection for awhile. Getting more than 8 Mbps at times. Seen up to 30. Thank you! Edit : does not work with pixel on Verizon 3/5
