Its better now by anonymIf anyone read my last review of yahoo messenger it was borne out of pure frustration. Well I have communicated with yahoo and they have fixed the problems (I think) But they did respond promptly to my mails. It seems to be working now. 4/5
Can't connect to yahoo server?? It's been 24 hours!! by anonymThis used to be my main messenger back in 03.. reinstalled the other day but keep on getting a cannot connect to yahoo server message. Disappointed. 1/5
Awful update by anonymThe layout is ok but thw omder version was much better. Miss the option to be invisible. Why have to option to block someone when their messages still reach you, it's very annoying! We should be able to share gifs & video clips from outside sources, I have not been able to share all gifs when I save them to my phone they are not available as an option to share when trying to select them 2/5
What's happened? by anonymNew changes doesn't settle down YM problem but it's was worst.. I think only the new users @ someone who like simple apps will love this apps... for oldest user's will not happy with this kind of changes.. it's still terrible.. pls3... bring me back the oldest YM version@style 1/5

THE LAYOUT IS BORING and it says you can delete but what's the point of deleting when it only deletes on your side the person your texting to still receives your text you deleted. I want the old layout back . I want to know when and who is online. No way this is a good App. Hate it . Bring the old app back plus why did you take it off the tablet?? Won't work by anonymThis app won't work without a phone # Tried to use my established google voice #, won't let me. Don't trust yahoo to associate any personal info with them. This app sucks!!! The app Trillian works with your yahoo screen name. You can use your original contact list and chat as normal. No need to use the upgraded app. 1/5

by anonymA new phone so had to download the latest messenger version. It is AWFUL and NONFUNCTIONING. I was able to log in once. And liked nothing! Not who's online and not, cant find the voice and video options if they still exist? Now, all it says is "can't connect to server". Such a large successful company to end up at such a disgraceful point. You would think this was a new program created by novices. 1/5
Please explain what's going on! by anonymThis is my second review since the first update back in January. Obviously that update was a total waste and now this new update is even worst. Are you trying to deliberately lose ALL your customers? Who ever had this idea in the first place should be let go for not understanding how to do their job correctly and realize that because of their failure to do a decent upgrade, people have lost valuable messages from those both on a personal and professional level. by anonymPlease please bring back the old version. This apps can't send text msgs to ur yahoo contact with phone #. This is so stupid. Old yahoo.messenger is the best. I can't sign in now. It says not enough storage space. Though I didn't stored anything on it. Stupid, stupid, stupid apps ever 1/5

Looking for zjwilliams by anonymI'm keeping this app on my phone because I'm looking for a loved one and yahoo was our last method of communication about two years ago. Yahoo deleted all of my contacts during the upgrade and I'm hoping another download to my new phone brings them back. Z, if you see this message by chance... Email me. Or hit me up on yahoo messenger, nothing has changed. Oh, the app works fine, I wish there were chatrooms though. 5/5

Good for nothing by anonymYou're supposed to improve a product when a new version comes out, not just list contacts (or delete them), lose the ability to change your status and never know who's actually online! New Glossy Look... Empty Inside by anonymI'll be straight up... Late to the game Yahoo... The app is short on features, no calling, either audio or video. The UI though sleek in appearance is not very user friendly and inefficient in use of space. How hard could it be to get it right Yahoo? 2/5

Iphone Yahoo is Much better by anonymThe iPhone yahoo messenger is much much better, very stable and notifications works awesome but here notification does not work effectively as I fond many times after I open the app that I received messages but it did not show any any notification on my phone screen or phone notifications area. 3/5
New version is totally useless! by anonymI use yahoo messenger on pc, tablet, and the phone to communicate with coworkers. The newest version for my phone has absolutely no correlation or features to the pc app. You can't change status or put up a status note. You can't see the groups you have assigned contacts to from the pc app on the mobile app. Old version worked just like the pc app and using the two different devices was no problem and seemed seamless. 1/5
