Jess by anonymVery handy when I need to calculate meds. 4/5
by anonymNeat idea, and the calculator works, but what hospital doesn't use decimals? Add the decimal and you'll be in much better shape to get great ratings. 2/5
Great app by anonymIts very useful mean to prevent the error during dose calculating very simple & accurate specially for nursing students! 5/5
Not so good by anonymUseless app. No decimal point. I can't calculate doses (strengths such as 0.5mg or 1.5g and 0.1ml ) 1/5
Not accurate by anonymGreat in theory. Sadly it is not accurate, especially with lower body weights and lower doses. 1/5
Had potential by anonymBut extremely slow and difficult to use... not good for paramedics. Also it needs mcg/kg body weight calculations 1/5
Newly registered nurse by anonymGreat app, however where's the decimal point . ? 4/5
Very bad by anonymHow to enter decimal values like 0.3, 0.5 etc ?? 1/5
From here, I'm going to be fine in drug calculations. by anonymThey just keep me going. 5/5
by anonymThere's not a . Decimal and I should be able to choose ml,g,mcl,l etc. Great idea but doesn't work. 2/5
Amazing App by anonymThanks for making this app I m currently enroll in Paramedic program and made my drug calculation go very smooth. I will suggest this app to all my class mate . 5/5
Terrible by anonymCant input dosages less than 1mg/kg on body weight calc. I.e pediatric dose for adenosine is 0.1mg/kg. App wont go below 1mg. 1/5
It helps me a lot by anonymI jst bought metronidazole 125mg/5ml suspension ..and i dnt know exactly the dosage coz its for my one year and 6months baby.. But now i find ds spp its really great.. 5/5
One small bug... but important! by anonymThis program works amazingly well. However, I have found that if I input an amount of fluid to infused over a period of time in minutes and do it again over the equivalent hours, the hours version is correct, the minutes version is incorrect, not by much, but it gives a different answer. For example, in the "IV Volume Rate" tab, 250 mL in 90 minutes = 166.3 mL/hour. Then change minutes to hours: 250 mL in 1.5 hours = 166.7 mL/Hr. Regardless of which method is used, the end result should equal 166.7 mL/hour for this amount of fluid over the same period of time. As it is, either way will get you in the ball park, but "hours" will provide the most accurate answer. It's a great app for nursing students, I've used it quite a bit to double-check my calculations. Other programs I've tried require you calculate rate by "Hour" and do not offer you to do the calculations by inputting "minutes." It's just a handy thing when you have an order for something to go in over 110 minutes and you can't figure that to be 1.83 hours... I would expect that to be kind of rare, but... it's possible! Overall, I'm *very* impressed with this calculator! Rounding does affect output to whole mg amounts. 4/5
Great great app by anonymI'm a nursing student who need to take med math calculation every quarter, your app is a great tool for practicing and checking your calculations. Thank you for your thoughtful act, in creating this app. Job well done!! :-) 5/5
